Internal Communications and Engagement Manager
The successful candidate will be a trusted strategic comms advisor and will use a range of creative communications and engagement methods to connect our engaged and enquiring people, wherever you are located, with the organisation’s strategic vision, priorities and purpose.
What will the successful candidate be doing?
This is a varied role where you will work closely across the internal comms team, wider comms colleagues and with our other agency partners. Our senior leadership see the critical value of strategic internal communications, so you should be comfortable working in a busy and changing environment.  
You will work to a Senior internal comms and engagement manager within the Internal Comms Team. The team has embraced hybrid working, across multiple locations and with customers wherever they are.
You will support a range of activities on the department’s strategic priorities, to connect and engage our people. You will also own and deliver bespoke comms campaigns and engagement events that reach across our dispersed workforce. There is also management responsibility for two Comms and engagement advisors in the team.
We are looking for someone who is keen to further develop their comms skills within this creative and empowering environment. You should enjoy making links between activities and connecting stakeholders together, to deliver the outcome of more simplified and engaging communications.
We are looking for a talented communications and engagement specialist who has a track record of developing and delivering comms in a variety of strategic and responsive situations.
You will have creative flair and some experience of using different channels and approaches to reach out to a diverse audience and a high ability to engage and inspire people.
You will be a confident communicator with an understanding of how to cut through the noise in a complex organisation. You should be comfortable collaborating and influencing across a range of stakeholders to achieve the desired outcome.  
Key responsibilities:
The successful applicant will need to have:
•    Minimum 3 years’ experience in corporate communications
•    Experience of delivering creative, strategic internal campaigns   
•    Experience of end-to-end communications planning and delivery, including using insight and evaluation to drive and achieve successful outcomes

Total Rewards Package of £37,639 (on a pro rata basis). This is made up of a £35,450 starting salary and a £2,189 concessionary payment. Plus London weighting of £5,500 if applicable.
You will be based out of one of our main hubs of London, Manchester or Cheltenham.  
Selection Process  
To be eligible to apply, you must be a British Citizen. (for more info, please click here) Candidates must normally have been resident in the UK for seven out of the last ten years. This is particularly important if you were born outside the UK.
