We’ll shortly be recruiting for the following roles:

Project Manager & Project Manager Lead
Working in the project management discipline you’ll be accountable for leading and managing innovative projects across GCHQ mission areas. As a Project Manager, you’ll focus on planning and implementation whilst leading a technical team, with exposure to the entire project lifecycle. As a Project Manager Lead, you’ll be required to take a lead in procurement and delivery whilst supporting less experienced project managers development. 

We welcome applications from candidates who currently work in an occupation that facilitates project management skills, regardless of educational background. As a lead within Project Management, it is desirable to have obtained a related qualification (for example Prince 2, APMQ, SAFe, SCRUM).

Project Control Officer
As a Project Control Officer, you’ll be at the heart of PMO, supporting high-value activities that keep the country safe. Your role will be to support delivery, embed effective ways of working, and apply appropriate governance and assurance.

To apply for this role, you must have obtained two GSCEs, or equivalent, in Maths and English Language.

Systems Engineer 
As a Systems Engineer you’ll be shaping, defining, designing and bringing about practical change to a system as a whole. 

To apply for this role, you must have obtained two GSCEs, or equivalent, in Maths and English Language.

As part of the registration of interest, you will be invited to several online events prior to the campaign opening. There will be Insight Events where you can find out more about the role. We are also offering a Skills Event which provides general tips about completing a job application, preparing for interview etc. These events will run on:

Insight Events - 4th October, 1pm and 5pm

Skills Event - 6th October, 1pm

The events will last for approximately 1 hour.
