At GCHQ, we unlock the complex world of data and communications to keep the UK and its citizens safe, both in the real world and online. Working closely with our British Intelligence partners in MI5 and SIS, we protect the UK from threats including serious organised crime, terrorism, and cyber-attacks. A role in GCHQ means you’ll have varied and fascinating work in a supportive and encouraging environment that puts the emphasis on teamwork.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Estates Team as a Manchester Hub Lead. Our Estates team build inclusive environments, and creates buildings, places and spaces that can be used easily, safely and with dignity, by all of us, regardless of age, disability or gender.

You will lead a team of like-minded Estate professionals, delivering Facilities Management services and overseeing the delivery of major projects, including stakeholder engagement with site SLTs and stakeholders to deliver mission enabling accommodation and related services.
You will also have line management responsibilities for the teams within Manchester Hub.

There will be some travel required; both within the UK and Overseas to sensitive locations.

•    5+ Years’ experience of building and leading diverse and inclusive teams
•    Experience of building strong relationships and stakeholder engagement e.g. managing multiple suppliers with differing/competing financial priorities as one team.
