The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) is the UK’s authority for cyber security advice and incident management. It is a fundamental part of how we aim to make the UK the safest place to live and work online. Part of GCHQ, the NCSC manages national cyber incidents, provides an authoritative voice and centre of expertise on cyber security, and delivers tailored support and advice to departments, regulators and industry. We are offering you an exciting opportunity to join our Economy and Society Team as an Events and Engagement Support Officer.

THE ROLE

The Economy and Society Engagement Team is responsible for helping organisations and citizens across the UK to protect themselves from cyber attack. The sectors we work with include charities, education, academia, SMEs, Legal and professional services, retail, pharmaceuticals and many more.

We are recruiting for an Events and Engagement Support Officer to be based in London.

REQUIREMENTS

The role will require the successful candidate to:

• Develop a robust and efficient event planning and delivery process for the Economy and Society Team
• Work with engagement leads to plan, administrate and deliver the logistics for events at Nova South and other external locations
• Liaise with external stakeholders and partners to ensure that our events and engagements deliver on their high expectations of The NCSC.  
• Support the engagement leads in wider projects and engagements as required.
• Contribute to the effective running of the Economy and Society Engagement Team

The Economy and Society Team is keen to help the successful candidate to develop their skills in engagement, representation and relationship management and support them in furthering their career in these field if they wish.

Salary of £26743 plus £5500 London Pay Addition (on a pro rata basis)
