We are currently looking for a Deputy Head of Internal Audit (Technology) to join our internal audit and consultancy team.

THE ROLE

As Deputy Head of Internal Audit (Technology) you’ll be a key member of the internal audit (IA) senior leadership team leading the Technology Audit team and programme.

You’ll be accountable for the design and delivery of the technology audit plan, providing key technology stakeholders with timely and insightful assurances over a range of technology areas including; IT governance and strategy, information security; cyber security; infrastructure; applications and databases; engineering; portfolio, programme and project management and IT services delivery management.  You will be able to influence and facilitate change, expertly strengthening the internal control environment, while supporting the business to achieve the mission.  You’ll manage the IA team, developing and supporting their career plans, while contributing to the execution of the resourcing strategy and training and development programmes across the IA team. REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for talented, flexible and committed individuals from all audit backgrounds with proven technical audit and risk management knowledge. You should have:

•  Experience of audit testing methodologies, data analysis, root cause analysis and strong report writing skills.
•  CISA qualification with an in-depth knowledge and experience of Technology auditing.  
•  Strong audit management experience with the ability to engage and inspire people.
•  Exceptional communication skills, you’ll have the ability to network while working collaboratively with the business to influence and support key decisions.

SALARY

Salary of £54,532 to £65,597 depending on location (on a pro rata basis)

LOCATION

London and/or Cheltenham (located within an hour’s journey of Birmingham and Bristol)

Travel within the UK is essential, with a possibility of occasional overseas travel.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS

GUARANTEED INTERVIEW SCHEME
