Technical Opportunities Registration of Interest
 
Do you have a curiosity for new technology and new ways of solving problems?  Do you thrive working in diverse teams with other highly capable technical people? Are you keen to learn and keep your knowledge up to date? We’ll support you with access to comprehensive training, including the opportunity to gain formal qualifications (dependent on the role) - it doesn’t matter where you are in your career, as long as you’re interested in learning or have experience of working in a more technical role.  
 
We’ll be recruiting for a variety of roles over the coming months including:
 
Infrastructure Engineer   
You’ll design, implement, support and maintain a complex and technologically advanced IT infrastructure.
   
Network Engineer   
Designing, building, commissioning and supporting networks using a suite of network management, automation and software defined network tools.  
 
Information Assurance
You’ll support the delivery of government policy and help keep us at the forefront of technology, through auditing system accesses and documentation, helping manage or mitigate risk, or designing and building services using modern technologies and cloud services.
 
Software Developer and Engineers   
Responsible for maintaining, developing and delivering bespoke software solutions to automate manual processes and modernise legacy monolithic applications.
 
In some areas of the organisation, there will be opportunities for Senior and Lead Software Engineers. In these more senior roles, there will be opportunities to lead on development and mentor and develop others.

ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible to apply, you must be a British Citizen. One of your parents must be a British Citizen or must have the nationality or citizenship from our approved list of countries (for more info see here). If you hold dual nationality, of which one component is British, you will nonetheless be considered. (for more info see here). Candidates must normally have been resident in the UK for seven out of the last ten years. This is particularly important if you were born outside the UK. You can apply at the age of 17 years and 6 months, if successful you will not be offered a start date prior to your 18th birthday. Discretion is vital. You should not discuss your application, other than with your partner or a close family member. Please note, you should only launch your application from within the UK.
