Does the world of Cyber intrigue you? Do you want to understand how the internet works in more detail? Do you have an aptitude for problem solving and coding? Have you considered a career in Cyber Intelligence?

GCHQ is keen to invest in enhancing your talent and Cyber skills. On our unique Summer School, you’ll get an insight into how GCHQ uses innovative technologies. You’ll get the chance to see how your passion for technology could help protect the UK.

It is a great opportunity to learn through structured teaching with extensive hands-on practical and experimental learning. You’ll grow and further your knowledge in Network Fundamentals, Malware Analysis, Pen Testing, Web Hacking, C and Python Programming.

You’ll receive a summer placement payment of £300 per week plus accommodation, for the ten-week course which runs from the Monday 4 July – Friday 9 September 2022. If you have the aptitude and enthusiasm we’re looking for we may offer you the chance to join another of our development programmes, or even a job.
Please note that accommodation consists of single occupancy rooms with a shared kitchen area and within a mixed sex building.

Together with a team of talented people, you’ll be given a challenging and rewarding summer like no other. All we require is that you are graduating between summers 2023-2026 and are on track for a 2.2 degree of a Joint Honours degree in a STEM subject.

If you’re curious about technology and are ready to learn something new, this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for. Register your interest now and we will email you when the recruitment campaign is launched in November.
