GCHQ is offering you an exciting opportunity to join our Computer Network Operations team as a Computer Network Operations Lead.

THE ROLE
 
Our Computer Network Operations team hack the computers of terrorists and criminals to discover and disrupt their plans.
 
Under strict legal safeguards and oversight, we have the scope to do things that wouldn’t be possible elsewhere, and provide the opportunity to really develop your skills. Using reverse engineering, penetration testing and intrusion detection skills, you’ll support national security objectives. With world-class training and support, you’ll have all the tools require to carry out our critical mission.

REQUIREMENTS
 
We are looking for individuals from all backgrounds with experience or knowledge in reverse engineering, penetration testing, vulnerability analysis, intrusion detection or analysis of malicious code. With skills in network operations, you enjoy problem-solving, keeping up with changing technologies and want to make a real difference to the UK. You’ll have an understanding of networks and protocols, including experience of security and protecting software and networks.
 
You are likely to be joining from a relevant job elsewhere. You expect to take responsibility for reasonably big and complex pieces of work having degree of autonomy in how you tackle them.
