Roles for Developers or Programmers
We have a vast range of roles dedicated to programming and developing software and tools to help us save lives. These roles directly contribute to our ability to disrupt the plans of criminals. Our Teams of Software Engineers find innovative and clever solutions to support the whole range of GCHQ’s Technical capabilities. Depending on your skills, aptitude and interest, you could find yourself working in one of many different areas in the organisation.
We are looking for candidates who have a STEM degree or have relevant work experience.

Basic salary of £30,227, plus relevant skills payments ranging from £3,000-£6,500 depending on role and capability
Up to £40,134 plus relevant skills payments ranging from £3,000-£8,500 depending on role and capability
Cheltenham, Manchester, Bude, Scarborough and London.
