This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to work in a team which works with government departments, local authorities, the health sector and emergency services to deliver a step change in the UK’s overall cyber resilience. We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter to lead cyber risk advice work with the Devolved Administrations (DA), Crown Dependencies (CD) and Overseas Territories (OT), working across all sectors to ensure they benefit from the full NCSC offer.

The Role and Requirements

The role will lead on developing and implementing engagement strategies, oversee customer insight, and scope, plan and monitor delivery of NCSC support, including bespoke technical support.  Although the role sits within the Digital Government team, the remit requires delivering to the Devolved Administrations (DAs) and Crown Dependencies (CDs) across all sectors, not just the public sector.  Hence the ability to work with other teams in NCSC, from other Engagement teams to deep technical experts to incident management to policy is a must, ensuring that we deliver practical advice which helps customers meet their strategic goals.  Formal technical qualifications are not necessary, but a sound grounding in information assurance and providing cyber security risk advice is preferred.

A key part of the role will also be to provide strategic relationship management advice to senior leaders both within NCSC and across government and to advise senior leaders within the DAs, CDs and OTs on key cyber security issues impacting them.
