GCHQ, the longest standing code-breaking intelligence agency in the UK, is offering you an exciting opportunity to join our NCSC’s Digital Government Engagement Team as a Cyber Security Business Consultant.

THE ROLE

NCSC's Cyber Security Business Consultants have a critical role in helping UK government develop its cyber security capability. You will get to the nub of your customers' business needs, providing technical and policy advice that meets those needs. Our training and support programme will keep you up to date with latest technologies and threats ensuring your customers get the best advice available. You will be the primary contact for a range of people from deep technology experts to senior leaders in Government.

REQUIREMENTS

We're looking for talented, flexible and committed individuals from all backgrounds. With your technical background and excellent communication skills, you’ll be comfortable holding conversations with both deep technology experts and senior leaders. You will be able to understand complex cyber security issues, translating them into simple business language to help senior risk owners make informed decisions in often fast-moving situations. Equally, you will use, build long-term relationships to build understanding and trust to help your customers improve their cyber security strategically and sustainably.

Cheltenham (located within an hour’s journey of Birmingham and Bristol) and London
