Senior Electromagnetic Security Engineer

JOB ROLE:

As part of GCHQ’s National Cyber Security Centre, the Electromagnetic Security team delivers a range of specialist services to a diverse range of customers. We are looking for an experienced and skilled Senior Electromagnetic Security engineer to join our small team. For Electromagnetic Security policy and advice to be effective, it has to be under-pinned by a sound knowledge of the risks and vulnerabilities, and how they can be mitigated.

The work will be interesting and varied and you will be undertaking Operational Assurance evaluations of equipment, systems, installations and mobile platforms. The work will require extensive liaison with a wide-range of customers, providing consultancy and advice on TEMPEST/Electromagnetic Security implementation and design. The role will also require you to develop and transition research products in order to maintain leading edge capability in this field. To maintain the specialist skills required for the role, you are encouraged to continuously develop and maintain your knowledge in this field.

You will be qualified to CFTCS/CPTAS Team Lead level, talented, flexible and committed.
