Our Cyber Operations team performs under strict legal safeguards and oversight, having the scope to do things that wouldn’t be possible elsewhere. We hack the computers of terrorists and criminals to discover and disrupt their plans. We will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills in numerous technical areas, from complex operational infrastructure to the development of sophisticated software and everything in between. Your role will involve developing the solutions required to gather intelligence and disrupt those that seek to do harm to the UK and its citizens.

You’ll have an affinity for technology, a desire to learn and adapt to an ever-changing set of adversaries, whilst developing the solutions required to gather intelligence and, disrupt those that seek to do harm to the UK and its citizens.

Requirements

We’re looking for passionate people from a diverse range of backgrounds, who will thrive working in a team environment and value the different perspectives of others. You’ll have an interest in technology and how it works, along with an ability to apply technology creatively to solve problems. You’re willing to experiment and find a solution and you enjoy new tasks. You recognise the breadth of internet technologies and both the benefits and drawbacks they offer the world. You’re interested in keeping up with the latest developments, able to grasp computing concepts and apply your knowledge, along with an ability to work lawfully, ethically and impartially at all times.

We welcome applications from experienced candidates who currently work within a related field regardless of educational background. Alternatively, if you have, or expect to obtain a minimum 2:2 degree in a STEM subject and can demonstrate the ability to work within the areas above for example, through personal projects or degree related study.

Gloucestershire (within an hours journey of Birmingham and Bristol and Oxford)
