The Role
We are looking for passionate individuals to lead a team of cyber specialists who routinely operate in hostile environments. Your role, using your specialist knowledge, will be to guide them in exploring these environments and collect strategically important information to protect the UK and its interests.

With your skills and experience our operators will be able to overcome technical challenges and make a real difference. At times, the pace of work may be driven by real-world events, and your skills will help shape the outcome.

Requirements
This role will suit a Cyber Security Professional with experience in penetration testing and vulnerability testing with at least five years’ experience.  Candidates need to have a proven record of being able to learn, understand, and then apply technical information.

You should be able to demonstrate both a breadth and depth of knowledge relating to penetration testing, from low-level vulnerability research to high-level network expertise. Knowledge of researching new or novel security issues would be advantageous.

Salary
Salary between £36,902 - £50,702 (this is made up of basic salary acquiring-applying + £2,147 concessionary payment). Plus, the potential to earn skills bonuses and additional payments dependent on experience and on successful completion of probation period.

Location
Gloucestershire (within an hour’s journey of Birmingham and Bristol and Oxford)
