Our Degree Apprenticeship in Software Development provides the opportunity to complete a BSc Honours Degree alongside work placements at GCHQ's office in Greater Manchester. Working with GCHQ you'll gain a unique insight into a world you won't find on any university course - cyber threats, terrorism, espionage and organised crime. Our work is constantly evolving, and always challenging, giving you plenty of development and new opportunities to explore. The programme will lead to exciting roles within GCHQ where you'll be helping to build, expand and further advance our technical capability - and our ability to tackle threats to national security.

Successful candidates could be offered:

- A fully funded 3 year apprenticeship in software engineering resulting in a BSc honours degree - university accredited classroom and lab education in state-of-the-art facilities with technical training, mentoring and job shadowing,

- Work based placements and projects at GCHQ - working on real projects throughout your apprenticeship

- A role at GCHQ on successful completion of the apprenticeship

Application criteria:

- UK National

- Have, or be expecting to achieve by summer 2017, 3 A Levels at grades BBC (2 of these must be STEM subjects).
