Develop your finance skills in a uniquely exciting and challenging environment where you’ll play an important part in helping to protect the security of everyone in the UK.

Your role

Joining either our Programme Accounting, Management Accounting, Financial Accounting or System Accounting team, you’ll be providing high quality financial services that ensure our operational teams can work effectively.

We work to fixed monthly and annual reporting cycles and you’ll be involved in a range of activities. These could include financial reporting, business unit financial management, budget management, project accounting, asset accounting, financial planning, financial systems support or accounts payable.

We’re looking for people who want to work part-time or full-time and who can be flexible in working hours to meet our evolving business needs.

What you’ll need

With financial experience gained in a private or public sector organisation, you’ll either have or will be working towards an AAT, CCAB or CIMA qualification. As well as knowledge of MS-Office, particularly MS-Excel, you’ll need five GCSEs or equivalent at Grade C or above, including Maths and English. Ideally you’ll be a good communicator who’s used to meeting tight deadlines and using your analytical skills to solve complex problems.
