Does the world of Cyber intrigue you?  Do you want to get your head around how the internet works in more detail?

With GCHQ’s unique six-week Cyber Summer School running in three locations across the UK, we are offering you the chance to do just that!  We’ll provide you with a fantastic opportunity to really understand how the internet works and how GCHQ uses this to protect and serve our nation – the public, government and our armed services.

Together with a team of talented, like-minded people, you’ll be given a challenging and rewarding summer like no other and you don’t need to be a computer science or STEM student (but we won’t turn you away if you are). All we require is that you have or are on track to have at least two A-levels or equivalent (e.g. BTEC) at grades A-C in any subject, and have an interest in and passion for problem solving.  If you’re curious about technology, into the latest gadgets and are ready to learn something new, this could be the challenge you’ve been waiting for.

Not only do you gain exciting new experiences, but we’ll give you free accommodation for the six-week course and you’ll also receive £250 per week! There are limited places on this programme, so get ahead of the game and register interest now and we will email you when the recruitment campaign is launched in mid-January. We’ll be running the Summer Schools in:

•    The North West
•    The North East and
•    The Thames Valley

IMPORTANT DATE for your calendar: Assessment Centre - weeks 4th & 11th April 2016
