GCHQ is an intelligence and security organisation, working to keep Britain safe and secure in the challenging environment of modern communications. Our work covers a range of topics including counter terrorism, cyber threats, child exploitation and serious crime. We also serve to support our military in its overseas operations as well as protecting the UK’s economic wellbeing. GCHQ employs highly-skilled Language Analysts in a variety of roles. The Language Talent Programme is an 11-week paid scheme for language students at GCHQ’s headquarters in Cheltenham. As a successful candidate, you will work as a fully integrated member of an intelligence analysis team, using your language skills and analytical ability to directly contribute to our work and really make a difference. You will be working alongside experienced Language Analysts who will provide you with one-to-one language coaching, with the opportunity for more formal language training  too.
