At MI6, our work is essential. We operate globally, ensuring safety and security for the UK. And we are able to do this so effectively, because we have the right people in place here at home to support our operations. It is thanks to their high standards and professionalism that we can concentrate on the security and prosperity of the UK.

Joining our team in London, you’ll offer exactly this kind of essential support. Your role will be to help ensure every facility here at MI6 is well maintained and readily useable. From ad-hoc maintenance tasks to painting and furniture assembly. You will help to look after all the day-to-day maintenance that enables us to continue working. You will even be involved in carpet laying and larger scale maintenance projects on occasions. In short, you will help to make sure things run smoothly.

Plus, as part of our weekly rota system team, you will take on driving duties, stationary stock control and mail delivery. To apply, you must hold a full driving license.

As well as being able to carry equipment, move crates and furniture, you’ll need good practical facilities skills. Even more importantly, you will need excellent teamwork skills and plenty of initiative.

A forklift license and a PASMA scaffolding certificate would be useful, but not essential.
