We are offering you an exciting opportunity to join our Internal Audit Team as a Senior Auditor.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a dynamic and energetic person to support the Deputy Head of Internal Audit.  As Senior Auditor you will manage and deliver internal audit assurance and advice to customers, at pace across a range of topics.  Covering operational business, technology, corporate services, finance and shared service. We are looking for someone who can understand and evaluate business arrangements quickly, a consummate communicator, you will confidently converse effectively with staff at all levels within the organisation.
This is a challenging and rewarding role, where your contribution will make a real difference.  Providing customers with high quality assurance, advisory and investigatory services that help strengthen and enhance risk management, governance and internal control arrangements. Your role will involve working on a range of assignments, leading a small team on some assignments, as well as delivering independent reviews to quality, budget and agreed timescales. REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for talented, flexible and committed individuals from all backgrounds with the ability to perform complex, high, and medium risk internal audits. You should:

• Have the ability to engage and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Have experience of technical audit and risk management
• Be effective at testing the design of controls and their operating effectiveness while continuously looking at ways to improve processes
• Have the ability to negotiate and communicate with customers at all levels within the organisation, at time delivering difficult message and influencing change in a collaborative way.

As the non-Technology Senior Auditor you will hold a IIA qualification or equivalent, and/ or be a qualified accountant (ACA/ ACCA/ ACMA or equivalent), with an in-depth knowledge of auditing.  

As the Technology Senior Auditor you will hold any of the above qualifications or CISA qualification with an in-depth knowledge of Technology auditing.

SALARY

Salary of £41,638 to £50,898 depending on location (on a pro rata basis)

LOCATION

London and/or Cheltenham (located within an hour’s journey of Birmingham and Bristol)

Travel within the UK is essential, with a possibility of occasional overseas travel.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS

The first thing we will ask you to do is complete our pre-screening questions to find out if you meet our initial criteria. If you do meet these criteria we will then ask you to begin an application.

GUARANTEED INTERVIEW SCHEME

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

To be eligible to apply, you must meet our residency criteria. You must be a born or naturalised British citizen and one of your parents must be a British citizen or have substantial ties to the UK.
