There are a wide variety of Business change and Business Analyst roles within MI6 – or as we’re more formally called, The Secret Intelligence Service (SIS), which offer opportunities to develop your skills in a truly unique context.  Working alongside Business Change Managers and Business Analysts, you will help promote and protect the UK’s national interests both at home and overseas.

About the role

Business Change and Business Analysis are key skillsets in SIS. They are a key enabler for changing the way we work to make us more efficient and effective, and to keep us ahead of those who seek to do harm to our country and our citizens, wherever they are in the world. Our Entry Level Change Analysts play a unique and vital role in optimising the way SIS operates as a global intelligence service in the 21st century.

As an Entry Level Change Analyst you will follow a Business Analysis or a Business Change development programme through a combination of internal and external training, whilst working alongside experienced senior colleagues. This will enable you to support both business as usual, and our transformation programmes by undertaking a range of tasks including requirements elicitation and analysis, business process modelling and change implementation planning and management.


About You

• Ideally, you’ll be able to demonstrate 2 or more years’ recent experience of working in a change, project or analysis related role.

• You will be able to demonstrate understanding of change lifecycles principles, and have some experience of applying them in a project or business context.

• You will be able to demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills.

• You will have good working knowledge of a diagramming and/or modelling tool (e.g. Microsoft Visio).
