An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced police qualified advanced driving instructors to join a friendly and professional team of driving instructors at our organisation.

The job involves delivering driver training to specialist officers based in London and throughout the United Kingdom. Much of the driver training that you will be delivering follows the College of Policing driver training syllabus, where you will be developing new officers through from initial assessment to advanced level along a structured pathway, whilst also delivering some additional aspects of operational driving designed specifically for very specialised officers.

As a confident and effective communicator, you will be comfortable delivering presentations, lectures and training to colleagues and liaising with the police and other external agencies on driving related matters.

While your full range of experience and expertise will be of great value in delivering our current and future training syllabus, there will be opportunities for you to expand and develop your own portfolio of skills and experience within our organisation.

To apply for this role, you will need to be a qualified police advanced driving instructor with current experience of delivering the advanced driving syllabus and assessing to the equivalent standard. You must have held a full UK manual driving licence for the last three years and have no more than six points on your licence.

The successful applicants will be rewarded by being part of an experienced team where we consider your work/life balance to be as important as your dedication to improving driver standards.
