Role: Senior Procurement Lead (broadly equivalent to Civil Service Grade 7)
Location: London, Cheltenham and Buckinghamshire
Salary: London: £62,493 - £68,631 depending on skills, qualifications, and experience
Cheltenham and Buckinghamshire: £61,279 - £67,578 depending on skills, qualifications, and experience
    
Summary: The Senior Procurement Lead role is responsible for leading and managing procurement and contracting teams at a time of rapid development and organisational change. Taking the lead on and shaping key projects and business change initiatives, you will translate business goals into prioritised and focused requirements for your team to deliver, whilst developing their skills and capabilities.

This is a unique opportunity to enable the team delivery, in a challenging environment, of a diverse and challenging portfolio of major procurement projects. Through coaching, mentoring and sharing your expertise, you will ensure teams deliver excellent procurement and supply service outcomes.

You must hold or be working towards a degree level qualification, MCIPS or business equivalent. You must also have experience of managing a team and effectively bringing about and embedding organisational change. Occasional UK travel may be required.

Salary: London: £49,346 - £53,211 depending on skills, qualifications, and experience
Cheltenham and Buckinghamshire: £47,610 - £51,638 depending on skills, qualifications, and experience

Summary: As a Procurement Lead you will lead on challenging procurement projects in a major category area, such as frontline operations, Information Technology and Estates. You will work closely with and support the Senior Procurement Lead, whilst managing an existing portfolio of contract and framework agreements and ensuring the timely delivery of procurement projects in-line with customer requirements.

You will apply best practice procurement principles when working closely with your customers in highly sensitive operational areas and support them through the delivery of goods and services. You will also resolve contractual issues in collaboration with experts when necessary. Through coaching, mentoring & sharing your expertise, you will support and energise the team to deliver outcomes.

A strong customer focus, commercial acumen, a pro-active approach, and evidence of effectively stimulating and embedding change within a team, is crucial in these roles. You must also have experience of managing a team. Interested candidates must be willing to work towards a degree level qualification, MCIPS or business equivalent. Occasional UK travel may be required.

Role: Procurement Manager (broadly equivalent to Civil Service HEO)
Location: London, Cheltenham and Buckinghamshire
Salary: London: £39,454 – £40,842 depending on skills, qualifications, and experience
Cheltenham and Buckinghamshire: £37,488 – £38,895 depending on skills, qualifications, and experience

Summary: As a Procurement Manager you will manage a small commercial team and actively seek to build their capability and enhance the team’s impact through continuous development of working practices and approaches. You will also support the Procurement Lead.

Through engagement with customers at all levels, you will provide a responsive, timely, efficient, sustainable, and professional procurement service in line with commercial policy. You will work closely with your customers in highly sensitive operational areas, supporting them through the delivery of goods and services. You will also ensure timely delivery of procurement projects against the departmental work plan, in line with customer requirements

You must be willing to work towards a CIPS or business equivalent qualification. You must also have experience of managing a small team. Occasional UK travel may be required.
